Description

The Hill County Appraisal District, located in Hillsboro, Texas, is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chief Appraiser.

Position Requirements:

 A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in management within business, government, or a related Field is preferred.

 A comprehensive understanding of mass appraisal principles, the Texas Property Tax Code, and ad valorem taxation procedures in Texas.

 The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and a driving record review.

Compensation & Benefits:

 Annual Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000, based on qualifications and experience. (The Board of Directors reserves the right to determine the final salary.)

 Benefits package: Medical, Retirement Plan, and Paid Vacation and Sick Leave.
